Food was good: I had the corned beef hash & egg special. The atmosphere was pleasant and the restaurant appeared sanitary & well kept.
I also appreciated ordering & paying at the counter because tipping isn’t expected at that juncture. I can leave it on the table upon departure, if I choose. However, not having a waiter takes away from the pleasant atmosphere experience & creates more of a cafeteria feel.
Food pic was after I started eating.
Absolutely loved this place. We keep thinking about when we are going back. We actually set out for breakfast and were at another location nearby, but they stopped offering breakfast items. We drove a street down and found this gem. We are so happy we did. The service inside was awesome. Freshly made coffee made me so happy. We got a red velvet pancake, an omelet, and stuffed fenwch toast. Oh my, were they all delicious and beautiful. We sat outside and wished we brought our pup as it was pet friendly on the patio. Please head ovet.there soon and they out anything on the menu. I bet it's all yummy.
Great spot to eat breakfast. Fast service without losing the quality of the food. You get what you pay for and more! This is quickly becoming my go to spot!
I have never been in a restaurant like this before, but have to say I love it! You walk in the front door, get your own menu, get your own coffee from many, many flavors. Order your food at the counter and sit wherever you want. They serve beautiful and well-prepared meals with a huge menu of options. Two regular meals with coffees came out to about $44. That feels a little high, but not so much these days 🙂
Came here for the gluten-free French toast in a waffle. They did not have that, so I got regular gf french toast. It was dense, heavy, and cinnamon raisin bread (not advertised as such) but good. I ate outside, and there were no condiments at my table, so my eggs were real plane. I also got a Mexican mocha that was good. The mug was ridiculously big, so I'd ask for it in a togo cup next time. They do have gf pancakes and waffles.
It is a counter order type of place, but they do bring it to your table. Service was very fast and everyone was nice.
Very popular joint with the locals. My wife loves this place! However, very much in need of maintenance, cleaning and updating. Tables and chairs need attention. Order and pay at the counter with wide variety of self-serve coffees. First Belgian Waffle was undercooked. Silverware had baked on food. All coffee cups were chipped. Delivery service to your table was good. Great coffee!
Wow! So delicious. Veggie Benedict. I’m so surprised I like it so much. Thought I’d miss my Canadian bacon. You order at counter but the cooks and staff are polite and efficient.
They you are military don't ask if they give a discount. They will not give a discount. The food was good, and parking and finding a place to sit down was a little hard. But I found a spot.
The staff working the floor worked very well with each other even though they acrossed our numbers. Oh, and this is all about self-service. You order your food and get your own water.
No one comes to your table. And if you want a take-home box, you need to get up and get that yourself. Which was different but pretty cool. Next time I'm back in SD, I'll stop and get a bite here again.
